Boston University Terriers

There are currently no Boston University Terriers events scheduled

The BU Terriers compete in NCAA Division I. Men compete in basketball, ice hockey, rowing, soccer, cross country, tennis, swimming, wrestling, and indoor and outdoor track. Women compete in cross country, indoor and outdoor track, softball, lacrosse, golf, field hockey, rowing, soccer, swimming, and tennis. BU has no varsity baseball team and their football team was terminated in 1997.

The Terriers are most recognized by their ice hockey team. The team is the most successful sports program at the school. They have won five national championships in 1971, 1972, 1978, 1995 and 2009. The team also has 21 appearances in the Frozen Four, won five ECAC tournament championships and seven Hockey East tournament championships. The Terriers have dominated the annual Beanpot tournament (winning 29 of 58 Beanpots) featuring Boston College, Northeastern and Harvard.
